It’s been a year-long project but British Tags is delighted that we have just achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation.
This is very exciting as it means that we have official certification confirming that our computer systems are secure and safe. This allows anyone who wishes to work with us on sensitive projects to have complete confidence that their materials are safe with us.
Five key areas were tested as part of the process:
- Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
- Secure configuration
- Access control
- Malware protection
- Patch management

We cannot rest on our laurels as certification only lasts for one year so we will be constantly checking to make sure we are as impenetrable as possible.
